Family Services Incorporated’s Victim Services Program is hiring for a Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) Counselor Advocate. The CAC Counselor Advocate will work with child victims and their non-offending family members who are interviewed at the CAC. The Counselor Advocate will provide individual counseling and advocacy, medical and legal accompaniment, including to all court proceedings, law enforcement interviews and CAC appointments, and serve as a resource to the child and family. The CAC Counselor Advocate will work Monday – Friday with flexible hours totally 40/week. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year experience working with victims and/or housing OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. The position starts at $14 per hour or based on experience. Benefits include: Vacation time; Sick leave; Holidays; 401(k); Life/LTD.
