ID Program Specialist

The ID Program Specialist assists in developing, implementing and evaluating services for intellectually disabled people by coordinating services for assigned Individuals; providing on site supervision to assigned Individuals, direct service staff and family living providers; possessing a working knowledge of the Pennsylvania Public Welfare Codes under Chapters 6400, 6500 and 2380.; being certified as a Medication Administration Trainer and being both a point person and a Certified Investigator for ODP’s Incident Management Protocols.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
An Associate’s Degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 (four) years’ work experience working directly with intellectually disabled people OR Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and 2 (two) years’ work experience working directly with intellectually disabled people OR Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university and 1 (one) year work experience working directly with intellectually disabled people
Special training in Person Centered Thinking, knowledge of current Behavior Support practices and Program Specialist experience is preferred.
Starting wage is $16.00 per hour or more dependent upon experience. Benefits include: Health; 401(k) with match; Vacation; Sick Leave; Life/LTD. Must be able to pass all background checks; drug screen and possess a valid PA driver’s license. EOE
