Family Services has an immediate opening for the position of Training and Compliance Officer. This position is responsible for: the principal oversight of training and compliance for the Intellectual Disabilities Program of Family Services; will ensure that all staff are aware of and have completed required training per state regulations; will ensure that the program is in compliance with licensing regulations; will be responsible for Incident Management; will conduct specific trainings within the agency as well as trainings in the community as opportunities become available and will act as chairperson for the agency’s Safety Committee to ensure the agency is compliant with safety standards and regulations.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR HIRING:
A master’s degree from accredited college or university in business, human services or education, and one year experience in the administration or supervision of human services OR a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, human services or education and 2 years work experience in administration or supervision in the human services field OR any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Familiarity with Quality Management processes, Office of Developmental Programs 6500, 6400 and 2380 regulations, Certified Investigation processes and Enterprise Incident Management is preferred.
The ideal candidate will be organized, attentive to detail, comfortable training large and small groups. Familiarity with different training/teaching methods a plus. Must enjoy building relationships and being a team player. This position is full-time, exempt, with a starting wage of $16 per hour or dependent on experience.
