Family Services Inc. seeks a full time Training and Compliance Officer for its Intellectual Disabilities Program.
The following is an overview for the position of Training and Compliance Officer: Responsible for the principal oversight of training and compliance for the Intellectual Disabilities Program; for assuring that all staff are aware of and have completed required training per state regulations; for assuring that the program is in compliance with licensing regulations and alerting necessary personnel to scheduled licensing visits; for Incident Management as it pertains to compliance and for conducting specific trainings within the agency as well as trainings in the community as opportunities become available.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR HIRING:
A master’s degree from accredited college or university in social work, human services or education, and one year experience in the administration or supervision of human services OR a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, human services or education and 2 years work experience in administration or supervision in the human services field OR any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Preferred experience includes Incident Management, Certified Investigator, Med Administration, CPR/1st Aid, familiarity with Office of Developmental Programs regulations, and Person Centered Thinking.
The ideal candidate will be organized, attentive to detail, comfortable training large and small groups. Must enjoy building relationships and being a team player.
